Walking by the Mangrove forest at Brgy. Tuban, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur is a view you won't see everyday, at least for now its available for everyone to cherish.

As of the moment this is one of the major threats that bestowed upon this beautiful sanctuary. We all know people did not see this as others may do, just like what we think in the past about Global Warming and now it become a Global threat, what frustrates me most is that some people really don't give a damn about this simple issue, especially those people who’s affected the most.

Am I giving my point here? I mean people here in this locality major source of income is fishing and some of them are living to catch fry along the shore line, they just don't get the point that this motorized boats they called "basnigan" are polluting the area around their livelihood. How do they pollute? Simple, see those yellowish color of the sand? That came out during low tide, it’s called grease, and fry and grease don't mix normally milkfish moves their nesting ground away from this kind of pollutant.

I asked a local once and wondering why is there less fish they have, and he even got no clue why? this is not a call for reform, I’m just trying to inject to the heart of the people concern that this is the time to be aware that we must take care of our natural resources, when we never learn nature always find its way of cleaning thing up.
