The death toll of the July 24 Metro Shuttle Bus bombing at the New Satellite Terminal claimed the life of another woman who died in a hospital in Davao City shortly before midnight of Wednesday.
Magna Parantar, 52, a resident of Padada, Davao del Sur was pronounced dead 20 days after she was brought to Davao Doctor’s Hospital after the explosion that ripped the bus at 11:45 p.m. of July 24.

Reports said doctors conducted four major operations to save the life of Parantar, but failed.

Sarah Fe Abillero, 19, a fourth year computer science student of Cor Jesu College in Digos City was the first fatality. She died on July 25.

The City Disaster Coordinating Council (CDCC) executive officer Reynaldo Caballero fixed the final count for the victims of the blast at 35.

Abillero and Parantar died. Three others are still in serious condition inside the hospital while the rest were released from confinement as they just sustained minor injuries.

The police have released the cartographic sketch and the identity of the woman suspect which they believed to be a member of Al-Khobar Group.

Al-Khobar is a known extortion ring in preying on bus companies and private firms in Southern and Central Mindanao.
