Pulapok Pulapok Pulapok

Beautifully crafted float carrying elderly folks depicting how the famous clay pots and other ornamental products made out of clay are being made during the “Pulapok” parade in Digos City on September 07 as part of the activities for the 8th founding anniversary of the city on September 08. “Pulapok” – an acronym of “Pulang Lapok” in Cebuano means “Red Mud”.

In the early days, Digos was watercourse meeting place of inhabitants belonging to the Indonesian-Malay tribes settled along the southern foothills of Mt. Apo. The Digos River meets the Davao Gulf and is ideal for fishing and bathing.
