Summer is here, no class and a lot of time to getaway. Some people tend to find a summer get away to cooler places like here in Digos you can always go to Kapatagan and enjoy the Nature or Fly With the wind at Camp Sabros the longest Zipline in the Philippines or go to the beach for a cheaper getaway, but no matter where you go summer sun will always find a way to cook you, Health experts warns the increase of heat stroke during summer days, luckily here in Digos it's quite the opposite its been raining here for two nights already, as shown in the weather forecast, well it's going to be cloudy due to tropical depression "Hanna" and the looks of it its heading away from the Philippine territory, well just incase the Sky clears and Mr. Sun takes the higher advantage, it would be better to be prepared.

While taking a walk on a late afternoon at the market place after a lunch a group of people clustering caught my attention wondering what so busy about, I approach them, a guy in the middle of the crowd sitting on a wooden stool with necklace from carved coconut shell was lecturing on them.

 
Philippine BAR Exam Results

The results are in. A total of 1,289 of the 5,626 examinees or 22.91% passed the 2007 board exams. The first and third placer were from Ateneo de Manila University, while the second placer was from the University of the Philippines-Diliman.

Bar passer dies en route to break news to parents


DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental -- A bar passer from Foundation University here died in a motorcycle accident Thursday as he was driving home to tell his folks the good news of his passing the bar.
Eleuterio Chiu, dean of the Foundation University College of Law, identified the fatality as Lino D. Dupio Jr., 28, single, of Tampucon village in Ayungon town, some 80 kilometers north of here.
Dupio was working at the Vallacar Transit in Bacolod City in Negros Occidental when he learned of his good fortune.
On Maundy Thursday, Dupio rode his motorcycle from Bacolod City to his hometown of Ayungon in Negros Oriental.
Chiu said Dupio's motorcycle hit a railing as he negotiated a sharp curve in Kabankalan City. "The impact broke his helmet and his head," Chiu said.
"He was a humble fellow and a good student. He was also very helpful," Chiu recalled.
Dupio's classmates trooped to Ayungon town Saturday to condole with the Dupio family.
Dupio was one of seven bar passers from the Foundation University Law School from a batch of 30 graduates.
The other passers were Jo Kenneth Arbas, Lluvert Mercado, Jun Maxell Orlina, Ray Himpayan, Louie Rastica, and Talan Bonganciso.
Victor Vicente Sinco, chairman of the board of Foundation University, said they would also be honoring Dupio in a testimonial dinner for their new lawyers some time in June.
Interment is scheduled on Saturday in Ayungon town.
